Sarah Latham, Hunt County Agrilife Extension agent, says Agrilife will offer a weekly Chronic Disease Self-Management program starting at 10 a.m. Monday, September 9 at the Agrilife office at 2217 Washington Street in downtown Greenville and continuing through Monday, October 14. It will help people suffering with on-going chronic illnesses and their caretakers learn to manage the illness more effectively. Also, a second "A Matter of Balance" program, helping senior citizens to avoid falls, will begin at 9 a.m. on Thursday, September 26 at the Fletcher Warren Civic Center in Greenville.
