Father's Day Weekend: Did somebody say "Sun"?

After yet another round of severe thunderstorms moved through the region this week, the sun bears its face again for a beautiful weekend.

Fathers across North Texas will be thanking Mother Nature this weekend because the skies should clear up and yield a bright and sunny weekend, just in time for their long awaited holiday.

Some storms could develop Friday afternoon, some of which could be severe. But with the sun coming out Saturday and temperatures in the high 80s and the low 90s throughout the weekend, this should be a great time for cookouts, ball games, and family time with your dads.

We will monitor the weather as it develops, and bring you the latest information.

Have a great Father's Day weekend, and stay safe!
