It is not everyday that a Texas music show receives a country record which really stands out and shines as something unique, but that's exactly what Notably Texan found in the Undiscovered Country release by Austin's Jeff Warren Johnston.Influenced by some of the music he listened to growing up in Austin, the artist strived to present an old school 70's country-rock sound on his debut album as Jeff Warren Johnston (having formerly gone by Jeff Johnston). Matt Meinke invited Johnston, along with his harmonica player and bandmate Ben Balmer, into the studio to learn more.

For more about the artist, you can check outJeff Warren Johnston's website. Discover great Texas artists like these, weekdays from 11am - 2pm on KETR's Notably Texan.
