Testing a hunting blind
Luke's friend Jeff Rice is guest this week. Luke and his buddy spent some time this past weekend on Jeff's Ranch near Lake Fork setting up a comfortable 4 ft by 8 ft "Freedom" blind that snaps and screws together and is shipped directly to one's door. The blind comes in easy to carry sections and provides a comfortable hunting blind that can be set up just about anywhere, even deep into the woods Luke and Jeff have previously assembled several Snap Lock blinds (www.snaplockhuntingblinds.com) on the property, some have been in use over a decade.Click and listen to Luke and his buddy explain how you can hunt comfortably even in those 'hard to get to' spots.

Squirrel hunting with dogs
Luke visits with Mr. Donny Lynch (903-930-8020) this week. Mr. Lynch lived down near Caddo Lake and has for years raised and trained squirrel dogs. In today's show, Luke and Donny talk about hunting squirrels with dogs, a great way to introduce youngsters to the outdoors.

Crappiefest review
Luke's guest this week is Mr. Jay Don Reeve and the topic is last weekend's Crappiefest tournament held at Caney Creek Recreational area at Lake Fork. Jay Don has for years been involved in crappie fishing in Texas and gives some good information on catching crappie as well as tournament crappie fishing. "Mr. Whitetail" Larry Weishuhn joins Luke again this week and talks about a late season whitetail buck hunt on the Cotton Ranch in Kaufman County. the ranch is under TPWD managed lands plan and allows hunting through the end of February.
