Wyman Williams Won't Seek Re-election As Commerce Mayor, Endorses Ted Reel As Successor

City of Commerce, Facebook

Commerce Mayor Wyman Williams says he won't file as a candidate in the May 7 mayoral election, and he will endorse City Councilman Ted Reel for mayor. Williams will be completing six years as mayor, and says its time for someone else to take over. Reel is an executive at L-3 Harris in Greenville and was first elected to the City Council last year. The filing period for the election has begun and continues through Feb. 18.
