Commerce Council Plans Improvements At City Park & Ivory Moore Park; New Generator Will Improve Water System Reliability

Commerce Mayor Wyman Williams says the City Council this week approved improvements to City Park and Ivory Moore Parks, including a splash pad at City Park and playground equipment and an adult exercise area at Ivory Moore Park. Also, City Park will receive playground equipment for children with physical or mental limitations. The mayor says the Council also approved the purchase of a new generator that will allow the city's water filtration system to operate in very cold weather, and to avoid future "boil-water" notices, such as the one that happened recently.
