Derek Price, author of the nationally syndicated "Cargazing" column that appears in the Herald-Banner, reflects on news that the fastest-selling used car in the month of January was the Tesla Model Y, an electric car. The fastest-selling new vehicle was the Kia Telluride. Alternative-fuel vehicles were well-represented among both new and used cars, even before the recent sharp spike in gasoline prices.
