Audie Murphy-American Cotton Museum Hosts Exhibit On Black Barbershops And Beauty Salons

Pud Kearns with Housewarmers of Greenville says the Audie Murphy-American Cotton Museum in Greenville is presenting an exhibit on black barbershops and beauty salons through April 23.

The exhibit includes video interviews with the local owners of barbershops and beauty salons. The exhibit continues through April 23. Also, the Museum hosts its popular "Easter After Dark" night Easter egg hunt for adults Friday, April 8. Tickets are now on sale.

John Mark Dempsey is the host of the public interest program The Blacklands Café from KETR News. Dempsey is also the play-by-play announcer for Commerce Tigers Football on 88.9 FM and on ketr.org.
