SCRPT Tea And Fashion Show April 7; SCRPT And 'Connection' Serve About 5,000 Per Week

Trina Coldiron, community liaison for the Senior Center Resource Center and Public Transportation (SCRPT) of Greenville, says their second annual fund-raising tea and fashion show is scheduled for 11:30 a.m., Thursday, April 7 at the Landmark on Lee in downtown Greenville.

SCRPT's services include Meals on Wheels and "The Connection," which provides transportation to people in Hunt County. She says, all told, SCRPT serves about 5,000 people per week.

John Mark Dempsey is the host of the public interest program The Blacklands Café from KETR News. Dempsey is also the play-by-play announcer for Commerce Tigers Football on 88.9 FM and on ketr.org.
