Bois D'Arc Car Show Is Saturday (April 30); Commerce Is New Home Of Amigos Internacionales

Commerce Chamber of Commerce, Facebook

Commerce Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Paul Voss describes plans for the annual Bois D'Arc Car Show on the downtown square in Commerce starting at 8 a.m. Saturday (April 30).

Paul says up to 100 cars and trucks are expected, ranging from vintage cars to new models. Also, Paul says the organization Amigos Internacionales recently opened an office in the King's Plaza shopping center on Culver Street, and joined the Chamber. Amigos Internacionales, Inc. was founded in 1967 to provide emergency services and disaster relief help throughout the world.  Paul says the organization provides water wells for communities in the Third World that otherwise would not have water.

John Mark Dempsey is the host of the public interest program The Blacklands Café from KETR News. Dempsey is also the play-by-play announcer for Commerce Tigers Football on 88.9 FM and on ketr.org.
