Working with past chair Kristy Landers Moseley, Emily the goal for the campaign, which will begin with a luncheon on Sept. 21, is $150,000.00. Emily relates that the new mayor of Sulphur Springs is City Council member Doug Moore, succeeding John Sellers, who will be mayor pro-tempore. The Northeast Texas Symphony Orchestra will perform at an Independence Day celebration including fireworks in downtown Sulphur Springs on Saturday evening (July 2).
