Early voting for the November 2nd election starts today and continues through October 29.

  • Among issues being decided on Nov. 2 are a $75M bond for a Hunt County jail and sheriff's office, a $68M package of bonds for CISD, $41M for new educational facilities in Lone Oak, and 8 constitutional amendments.
  • Portland, OR company D6 will relocate its headquarters to Sulphur Springs, bringing more than 200 jobs.
  • Adventures With Purpose may have located remains in Lake Tawakoni belonging to Carey Mae Parker, missing from south Hunt County since 1991.
