Most of Hunt County moves into the Texas 3rd Congressional District under new maps approved by the governor's office this week.

Most of Hunt County, including Commerce and Greenville, has been moved from the Texas 4th Congressional District, represented by Sherman Republican U.S. Rep. Pat Fallon, into the 3rd Congressional District, represented by Plano Republican U.S. Rep. Van Taylor.
A strong weather system, bringing with it the possibility of severe thunderstorms, is forecast to move into Northeast Texas overnight, most likely between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m.
