Boles – New leadership in the Boles independent school district. Shirley Duran has been named interim Superintendent Tuesday after the district's board of trustees accepted the resignation of long-time superintendent Graham Sweeney. Duran also serves on the district's Site-Based Decision Making Committee. Sweeney stepped down after twenty-two years with the district. There's no immediate word on plans to fill the permanent post.
