Confirmed cases of swine flu in Hunt County

By Scott Harvey

Hunt County – The Hunt County Health Department is reporting the county's first two confirmed cases of swine flu, as of Thursday.

The county's website did not reveal any additional information, and Health Department Lab Director Joe Lilly was unavailable for comment.

Hunt County Emergency Management Coordinator Richard Hill was unfamiliar with the details, but did say that crews are still communicating frequently with services such as the Texas Department of State Health and the Texas A&M Health Sciences Center, with their most recent meeting Monday.

Further details will be provided as soon as they become available.
