Paris – Lamar County authorities have arrested two Dallas men for possessing methamphetamine and illegally recorded DVD's.
The items were found following a traffic stop along South Church Street Wednesday afternoon regarding possible narcotic violations.
According to Crime Information Office Matt Birch, detectives searched the vehicle and found over pound of meth with an estimated street value of $15,000, as well as about 100 illegally recorded and labeled DVD movies.
Arrested was 27-year-old Tomas Perez and 18-year-old Luis Angel Hernandez. Each was taken into custody without incident.
