Heroes (and villians) on display

The organizers of the Dallas Comic-Con hold several events each year.  The latest event was the Sci-Fi Expo this past weekend, Feb. 8th and 9th.  Numerous comic creators and celebrities were on hand to welcome fans.  Never a let down, the fans truly make the events special, dressing as their favorite characters and letting their creative sides run free.

We have some pictures from the event, highlighting all the great Cosplay adventures of this year's Sci-Fi Expo.

Fans should know that the main Dallas Comic-Con event has been growing in leaps and bounds and this year will be moving from the Irving Convention Center (which has struggled to handle the crowds over the past few years) to the Dallas Convention Center.  A much larger venue for what is becoming a major event each year for North Texas.  The Dallas Comic-Con will be May 16th - 18th, with Marvel Comics' legendary Stan Lee rumored to be making a return to the Dallas area for the event.
