The 4th Annual Mental Health Matters keynote speaker is actor, author, and veteran J. R. Martinez. He is the author of the New York Times best-selling book "Full of Heart: My story of Survival, Strength, and Spirit" a memoir about how he was able to take his own personal tragedy and turn it into an inspiration for others. The event is open to the public. The first 300 A&M Commerce students will receive a copy of J.R.'s memoir. The event is sponsored by the A&M Commerce Student Counseling Center and the Vice President for Campus Life and Student Success.
