The Sam Rayburn House State Historic Site will host a party on Saturday, January 6, 2024 to honor Sam “Mr. Sam” Rayburn on what would have been his 142nd birthday! Mr. Sam spent many birthdays in Washington, D.C., because of the congressional schedule, but now we get to celebrate his birthday at his historic home with the citizens of the 4th Congressional District that Mr. Sam loved so much.

Join us from 10 am to 3 pm for fun, games, and activities, including first floor tours of the Rayburn family home! And no birthday would be complete without birthday cake! Admission to Mr. Sam’s Birthday party is free.
