Step into a world of sugar-coated wonder as Commerce transforms into a living Candy Land this Christmas Season! From peppermint swirls to gumdrop floats, the streets will sparkle with holiday magic, laughter, and community cheer.This year's parade is extra sweet: the upcoming holiday film "Evergreen and Ever After" will be filming right here in Commerce, capturing our festivities for the big screen.
4:30pm kids craft activities and Hot Chocolate and baked goods.6:00pm Tree Lighting & Parade6:30pm Santa at the Gazebo following the paradeParade lineup begins at 5:00pm at First Baptist Church for vehicles, floats and horses. All must we well lighted since it will be dark when it starts.Marching, walking and small motorized units will meet at First Methodist Church. No registration required.
Come join your neighbors on the square for the annual Christmas parade and cocoa on the square! Just this morning we received a letter from the North Pole letting us know Santa will be with us again this year!! He LOVES Ladonia!!The parade starts at 6PM and goes along the traditional route.Staging is at 5pm at the high schoolAll are welcome to participate in the parade. We're throwing a birthday party for Sam Rayburn, and you're invited! Join us as we make some party hats and birthday cards, play some games, and eat some cake in honor of Sam Rayburn. This program is free to attend. House tours are available at regular admission rates and take place on the hour. The Friends of Sam Rayburn sponsor this program.

Holidays at the Heard brings the beauty of the holiday season into nature. Bundle up your family, get out of the house, and experience the most unique family-friendly holiday event in North Texas. Holiday lights and décor will accentuate a lovely half-mile Heard nature trail. Your family will be enchanted by this nighttime hike through the woods. Also, you’ll get a glimpse of the Dinosaurs Live! exhibit along the trail. In keeping with the Heard’s role as a nature preserve, this light display is designed to enhance, rather than overpower, the sanctuary’s natural beauty.
