Happening Friday, June 27th in Caddo Mills, it’s the Fourth Annual “Red White and Boom”. In addition to a fireworks show, the event will feature live music, food truck, games, a parade and much more. Gates open at 6 p.m. at Hooten Memorial Park in Caddo Mills.

The Boys and Girls Clubs of Northeast Texas present their first ever “Family Fest” on Saturday. The event will include brunch, and an awards program. Plus, bounce houses, games, food trucks, music and more. Running from 10 until 2 on Saturday at the Jerry D Morris Recreation Center, located at 2350 Texas Highway 24 on campus at East Texas A&M University. Bring your family and friends out to enjoy this spectacular event! Royse City's Celebrating Freedom on Saturday, June 28th at the RCHS Football Stadium parking lot. There is no admission fee for the event. The kids’ zone is free to the public; it will be open at 7:00 PM and close promptly at 9:30 PM. We will also have a variety of food trucks; all food items will be available for purchase.The event starts at 7 PM.The music line-up is as follows:Big Gus 7:00 – 8:00 PMFeature Artist: Tracy Byrd from 8:15 – 9:30 PMKid Zone opens from 7:00 - 9:30 PMFood trucks open from 7:00 – 10:30 PMPre-Fireworks Ceremony 9:45 – 10:00 PMFireworks begin at approximately 10:00 PMVehicles will enter the entrance located on the north side of the parking lot. Police & Cert volunteers will be directing vehicles to the car park. Once the parking lot is full, vehicles will need to seek alternate parking locations. If you would like to park together as a group, please arrange for everyone to arrive at the same time. Reserving spaces will not be allowed due to limited parking. Also, for the safety of everyone in attendance no skateboards, bicycles, scooters, skates, etc… will be permitted. We also ask if you must leave the event prior to the end, that you do so with extreme caution.Due to UIL guidelines no alcohol or tobacco use will be permitted on school property.There will be a large seating area for spectators to safely enjoy the show. Feel free to bring lawn chairs or blankets. We ask that you do not set up canopies in the seating area for it blocks the view of others. However, there are grassy areas where tents are acceptable.
