Bread of Life Food Pantry distributes free food to those in need. Family and Senior Commodity Boxes available at all distributions. Located at 301 Hwy 224, Commerce, TX. Most boxes consist of canned vegetables, rice, pasta, peanut butter, cereal, juice, and canned meat. We also offer frozen meat, bread and fresh produce when in stock. New clients bring a photo ID and proof of address. For example, current utility bill. Our distribution days are the first Friday after the first Wednesday 10:00am – 2:00pm for seniors 60 plus, and everyone younger from 12:00pm – 2:00pm and on the 3rd Wed of the month from 5:00pm – 8:00pm. We also offer Emergency Boxes to families who can’t wait for a distribution day. Volunteers and donations are always welcome. Thank you. College students can gather for a meal and supportive fellowship. Someone will be available to talk to and pray with and study the Bible for those needing that service.

The 2026 Giving Market is a special Farmers Market dedicated to celebrating and supporting the nonprofits that make Hunt County stronger;

You can shop your favorite Farmers Market vendors, meet Hunt County nonprofit organizations, shop nonprofit merchandise and handmade items, donate directly to participating nonprofits, learn about volunteer opportunities and community programs, enter raffle giveaways at participating booths, and grab a bite from local food trucks.

City of Greenville and Hunt County residents have a permanent collection center for disposing of hazardous household waste products. This is available to residents of participating cities and residents in the unincorporated areas of Hunt County free of charge.

Important: The facility will be open on the 1st & 3rd Tuesday of each month from 4 p.m.- 7 p.m.
and on the 4th Saturday of each month from 8 a.m.- noon.

Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. at the museum with the run starting at 10am. Rider registration costs $30 and includes a patch, poker card and lunch with an additional rider fee of $10 with lunch included. The end location will also be at the Museum. Don’t ride a bike? That’s ok – you come on out to the museum from 10 a.m.– 2:30 p.m. to visit the vendor booths, visit the museum, participate in the silent auction and raffle; also, you'll be able to listen to a performance by singer/songwriter Jenn Ford starting at 12:30.

There are some wonderful auction items including decorative items, unique whiskey bottles, gift certificates and much more. If you're interested in being a vendor, signing up for the ride or just have questions, give the Museum a call at (903) 450-4502.
