Body Found in Van Zandt Co. Confirmed that of Missing Greenville Teen

The Greenville Herald Banner reports that the Greenville Police Department have received confirmation that the body of an African-American female found Tuesday by a Van Zandt county road construction crew is in fact that of missing Greenville 16-year-old Alicia Moore.

Text from a City of Greenville Press Release follows:

The Greenville Police Department has been notified by the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office that the body discovered in Van Zandt County on November 6, 2012, is that of 16-year old Alicia Chanta Moore, who was reported missing on November 2, 2012. Greenville Police Chief Dan Busken will hold a news conference at 2 p.m. today in the Community Room of the Police and Courts Building, 3000 Lee Street, Greenville, Texas.
