Tomorrowland stars Britt Robertson and George Clooney in a live-action Disney movie from the mind of Brad Bird. Alice says the special effects were amazing and beautiful, but as far as plot and theme goes, the movie was lacking.
I'll See You in My Dreams stars Blythe Danner, Martin Starr, and Sam Elliott. It's a grown-up romance that Alice found delightful. It's a smaller release, so if you want to see it, you might have to make a trip to Dallas.
Slow West is an epic western that was shot in New Zealand. It stars Kodi Smit-McPhee and Michael Fassbender. Alice previewed this movie last month, and she thought it measured up. If you can't find it in theaters, it's already digitally available on VUDU.
