LAMAR COUNTY - The two-vehicle wreck occurred Wednesday afternoon in Lamar County along Highway 82.
Micah Aldridge and 41-year-old Kenneth Aldridge, both of Honey Grove, died at the scene. State Troopers could not confirm their relation, but say they were traveling in the same eastbound vehicle that was carrying five passengers.
Also killed was 34-year-old Jon Paul Minnick of Bonham, who was said to be traveling westbound in a 1999 Chevy Pickup that was struck head-on when the eastbound vehicle, an F-250, crossed the center line.
State Troopers say the accident occurred Wednesday at about 3:15 p.m. near the intersection of CR 34050 near Brookston.
Four others were injured. 38-year-old Karen Aldridge and Michael Brown of Wolfe City were flown to Medical Center of Plano. Two boys, ages 11 and 12 were flown to Children’s Hospital in Dallas. Conditions were unknown.
