Local Farm recently receives Storm Damage
On Saturday night a Delta County farm located at Farm-to-Market 1530 and County Road 3388 sustained heavy wind damage from a storm which produced over two inches of rain in parts of the County.
The winds were so strong a 300-pound cement pillar was lifted up and punctured the roof of a barn at the location.
Damage occurred during Aug. 16th storm to the house (roof shingles), other barns and cattle trailers at Brian Cobb’s farm.
Emergency personal are still determining if there is a possibility of a tornado due to the destruction path.
