Bonham Hoping For New Commercial, Housing Development

Bonham Mayor Roy Floyd says with the Lower Bois D'Arc Creek Reservoir and Lake Ralph Hall projects expected to begin soon, proposals are being considered for single-family and apartment developments, and also new retail projects.  Also, the city has received a grant for an Automated Weather Observing System for the municipal airport that will allow pilots to receive vital information.  For the first time, beer will be sold at the Heritage Festival on Saturday, May 7.  Also, the Bonham ISD will have a $30 million bond election for a new high school and other facilities May 7.
