21 Days To Change Behavior ... In Seven-Day "Dashes"

Rick Miller with the Center for Applied Leadership relates an approach to the tried-and-true method of changing a habit or establishing a behavior in 21 days of practice, by breaking the efforts into seven-day "dashes."  But Rick says, first, it's important to know why you're making the effort.
