Herald-Banner movie critic Alice Reese says "American Made," out today, is an action movie with Tom Cruise at his wise-cracking best. The film is based on the U.S. involvement in Central America's political conflict and the drug trade of the 1980s. Alice says "Battle of the Sexes" is a fine account of the super-hyped 1973 tennis match between Billie Jean King, played by Emma Stone, and Bobby Riggs, played by Steve Carrell.
