Cooper Fire Department In Need Of More Volunteers

Cindy Roller, Cooper Review

The assistant chief of the Cooper Fire DepartmentTanner Crutcher says the department now has 18 fire fighters, but needs 25 to be fully staffed.  Only four volunteers were available to fight a recent two-story house fire in Cooper.  Volunteers must be at least 18 years old, live near Cooper, be in good physical condition, and be able to pass a background check.  Prospective volunteers may pick up an application at Cooper City Hall.  Also on this program is Cooper Review editor Cindy Roller.
