Carol Taylor, the chairman of the Hunt County Historical Commission, is researching what may be a forgotten Hunt County town, Pompey. Few records exist on the town, believed to have been located east of Greenville near what is now Interstate 30, but Carol has turned up intriguing hints of the town's existence.
