Members of the Greenville Independent School District Board of Trustees are expected to review some possible major cost-cutting measures at its Tuesday, March 26 meeting.
Possible measures to reduce the district’s operating costs include consolidation of campuses. The meeting agenda does not specify which campuses might be consolidated. Another action under review will be the possible conclusion of the current fiscal year on June 30 as a one-time measure to help the 2019 fiscal year’s bottom line. The board’s agenda can be viewed online.
The meeting is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. at the Greenville ISD administrative offices, located at 4004 Moulton Street.
