Commerce-based musician and music producer Brad Davis has recently issued a series of his own recordings of '80s rock hits such as "Simply Irresistible" and "Africa" in a bluegrass style. The recordings are to promote Davis' endorsements of Alvarez and Fender guitars, among other instruments. He'll be joining Billy Bob Thornton's touring band, the Boxmasters, this summer with a date scheduled at Greenville's Texan Theater July 29.
