Sharline Freeman, director of the Northeast Texas Children's Museum in Commerce, says an open house is being held from 11 a.m.-12 noon, Friday (May 21) in honor of the museum's new fire truck exhibit, and those who helped to make it a reality, Bob Stachowiak, his wife Dixie Turman, and State Farm Insurance. The museum is returning to regular hours following the pandemic, Wednesday, June 2.
