Steve Killian, superintendent of Cooper Lake State Park, says the park is seeking a person with teaching experience to fill the role of park educator, serving visitors to the park.  The deadline to apply is Thursday, June 17.  Steve also discusses a recent WFAA-TV news story on the community of Granny's Neck, which existed near the Cooper Dam and was covered with water when the lake filled up.

John Mark Dempsey is the host of the public interest program The Blacklands Café from KETR News. Dempsey is also the play-by-play announcer for Commerce Tigers Football on 88.9 FM and on ketr.org.
