Campfire Talk with Mr. Whitetail

Luke visits with his friend Randy Douglas, manager of the Dale River Ranch (www.daleriverranch.com) up in Palo Pinto County on the banks of the Brazos River and discusses late season deer and turkey hunting opportunities. 

Join Luke and his guest and good friend Jeff Rice for a tutorial on hunting squirrel during the breeding season (rut). Most hunters are aware of the whitetail rut and know that it is the best time to harvest a wise old buck when he lets his guard down. Squirrels mate twice a year and right now is the peak of the squirrel (rut). No better time to collect the makings of a big pot of squirrel stew or dumplings! 

Luke visits with Mr. C.J. Vespucci, who heads up 'The Lodge" on Social Media. Mr. Vespucci takes a break from his deer hunt up in upper New York state to be on today's show. Luke also invites everyone to join him for  a fun outdoor event in Greenville Dec 14. 

The topic of Luke's outdoor show today is deer hunting. He used his 45 caliber Airforce Airguns Texan air rifle on the Dale River Ranch (www.daleriverranch.com) to harvest his first ever whitetail buck with an air rifle.
