The Delta County Sheriff’s Office arrested Falando Rapheal Clark from Cooper, Texas on December 21, 2015 for felony forgery of a financial instrument. The arrest occurred after the suspect passed a fraudulent check at Lakeview Grocery in Cooper on November 10, 2015. The investigation conducted by Delta County Sergeant Colton Spinks indicated that the check was fraudulent and issued on a business out of Trenton, Texas.
“We have experienced a growing number of identity theft issues such as this,” said Delta County Sheriff Ricky Smith. “I encourage all to use caution in protecting your personal information and financial instruments and to contact the Delta County Sheriff’s Office immediately if you believe you are the victim of identity theft.”
