The Hunt and Hopkins county sheriff’s offices say they’ve destroyed more than 3,100 marijuana plants at a campsite in the northeastern Hunt County.
In a statement, the Hunt County Sheriff’s Office called the operation "very sophisticated." The area had been clearcut and water lines had been set to feed the plants. No arrests have been made and no suspects announced, but the sheriff’s office said the site looked to be the work of several people.
The street value of the plants was estimated at $186,000.
