Michael Johnson's Books On Horses Are For All Readers

Michaeljohnson.com

Sharon Feldt of Sulphur Springs, our books commentator, says Dr. Michael Johnson's series of books on horses are enjoyable for any reader.  In particular, she enjoyed "Healing Shine: A Spiritual Assignment," a book about saving a traumatized horse.  Dr. Johnson, from Campbell, will speak to the Silver Leos writers group in the Texas A&M-Commerce Alumni Center Wednesday, Sept. 15.  Sharon also reviews "How the Deer Moon Hungers" by Susan Wingate, a 2020 National Book Award nominee.

John Mark Dempsey is the host of the public interest program The Blacklands Café from KETR News. Dempsey is also the play-by-play announcer for Commerce Tigers Football on 88.9 FM and on ketr.org.
