CASA One of Local Non-Profits Hoping to Benefit From 'North Texas Giving Day'

Lori Cope, the executive director of CASA (the Court-Appointed Special Advocates) of Hunt County says the organization received $17,000 in contributions from the North Texas Giving Day last year, and hopes to do at least as well this year. CASA volunteers advocate for children in the foster-care system. North Texas Giving Day is officially Sept. 23, but online contributions can already be made.
