As we are well into hurricane season, Dr. Karri McCreary, veterinarian and co-owner of the Greenville Animal Hospital, comments on an article describing how pet owners should make preparations in advance to take care of their pets in the event of natural disasters. One important thing is to have a microchip inserted into your pet's skin so the pet can be identified if lost.
