'The Last Duel' Realistically Recreates France In The 1300s

Alice Reese, Herald-Bannermovie critic, says "The Last Duel," starring Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, and directed by Ridley Scott, is a realistic, and bloody, recreation of the 100 Years War and the last sanctioned duel to the death in France. Alice enjoyed the science-fiction movie "Dune" but says its more than two-and-a-half hour length is at times tedious because of the sameness of the desert landscape portrayed on another planet.
