A potentially fatal dose of fentanyl is compared to a penny

Dr. LaVelle Hendricks, head of the Texas A&M-Commerce Department of Counseling, discusses the background the fentanyl crisis. The drug is now the greatest killer of people from 18-45 in the U.S. Dr. Hendricks says the Counseling Center in the Halladay Student Services Building and the Department of Counseling in Binnion Hall can offer help for people involved with fentanyl.

John Mark Dempsey is the host of the public interest program The Blacklands Café from KETR News. Dempsey is also the play-by-play announcer for Commerce Tigers Football on 88.9 FM and on ketr.org.
