Sulphur Springs ISD, Facebook

Emily Glass, our Sulphur Springs commentator and former mayor, says the Sulphur Springs ISD is proposing a $93 million bond issue in an election May 7.

Among other projects, the bond issue would provide $35 million for construction of a new building to replace the 67-year-old Travis Elementary School; $12.5 million for a fine arts addition; and $12 million for a Career and Technology Center at Sulphur Springs High School.
