Playground Improvements Underway At Commerce's Ivory Moore Park, Splash Pad Coming To City Park

City of Commerce, Facebook

Teddy Reel, the recently inaugurated mayor of Commerce, says a project is underway to install new playground and exercise equipment at Ivory Moore Park on the city's northeast side.

The mayor says installation of a splash pad will begin soon at City Park in central Commerce, as well as new playground equipment for children with disabilities. At its most recent meeting, the council received applications for funds from the city's hotel-occupancy tax, including a request from the sponsors of two junior-college bowl games that will be played at A&M-Commerce Memorial Stadium/Ernest Hawkins Field.
