Commerce ISD Superintendent Charlile Alderman contemplates Gov. Abbott's recent proposal to provide funding to families for school-choice options.

The superintendent also weighs the news that school ratings based on the STAAR (State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness) exams will resume for the first time since the pandemic began.
