Texas A&M University-Commerce Associate Professor of counseling Dr. LaVelle Hendricks recently received a grant from Hunt Regional Healthcare that provides funding for a "quit smoking" support group that meets at 6 p.m. Thursdays in Room 120 of Binnion Hall on the A&M-Commerce campus.  All members of the community are welcome to attend.

Dr. LaVelle Hendricks, associate professor of counseling, at Texas A&M University-Commerce discusses the problem of bullying.  Dr. Hendicks says bullying is not limited to school-age children, but exists on college campuses and the workplace.  The A&M-Commerce Counseling Center offers help for bullying.  The program recently hosted a conference on bullying in honor of former faculty member Dr. Richard Lampe.
