Paris – A Paris bomb threat suspect is given six years in prison after pleading guilty to creating the hoax.
Clinton Dart entered the guilty plea Friday to three counts of making a terroristic threat, all third degree felonies.
On July 20, employees of the Lamar County Courthouse and Paris Police Municipal Courts Building were evacuated as authorities searched the facilities. Nothing suspicious was found.
Officers traced the calls that made the threats to a phone at a convenience store, and then viewed videotapes of the time the threats were made. After locating his vehicle, Dart was taken into custody.
