Greenville – The cost for Greenville residents to keep dogs and cats at home is going up.
Tuesday's vote by the City Council will finalize the new fees, which went into effect in October.
Last spring, a split council voted to adopt new regulations limiting the number of dogs and cats residents can keep in their homes without obtaining a permit.
Unless a permit is obtained, homeowners are limited in the number dogs or cats they can keep on their property.
