This Hunt County Agrilife Family and Community Health Program will introduce you to the health benefits of the Mediterranean Diet, and how to incorporate these principles into your own cooking. There will also be food demos, tastings, and interactive discussions.
Bread of Life Food Pantry distributes free food to those in need. Family and Senior Commodity Boxes available at all distributions. Located at 301 Hwy 224, Commerce, TX. Most boxes consist of canned vegetables, rice, pasta, peanut butter, cereal, juice, and canned meat. We also offer frozen meat, bread and fresh produce when in stock. New clients bring a photo ID and proof of address. For example, current utility bill. Our distribution days are the first Friday after the first Wednesday 10:00am – 2:00pm for seniors 60 plus, and everyone younger from 12:00pm – 2:00pm and on the 3rd Wed of the month from 5:00pm – 8:00pm. We also offer Emergency Boxes to families who can’t wait for a distribution day. Volunteers and donations are always welcome. Thank you. College students can gather for a meal and supportive fellowship. Someone will be available to talk to and pray with and study the Bible for those needing that service.
This is the free opening reception to celebrate the exhibition Of Birds and Texas: The Gentling Brothers and Their Magnificent Book, on view until September 28 in the Art Gallery (1st floor art building.)
The gallery will be open to view, and we will serve light refreshments.
The general public is invited to attend; this event is free.
The 7 p.m. show this Friday, Jul 24 is "Dark Star", followed by "To Worlds Beyond" at 8 p.m.
Admission is $5 per person, per show.

The Greenville Farmers Market will be open each Saturday through November from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM, with a few vendors opening early at 8:00 AM.

City of Greenville and Hunt County residents have a permanent collection center for disposing of hazardous household waste products. This is available to residents of participating cities and residents in the unincorporated areas of Hunt County free of charge.
Important: The facility will be open on the 1st & 3rd Tuesday of each month from 4 p.m.- 7 p.m.and on the 4th Saturday of each month from 8 a.m.- noon.

The Commerce Farmers Market opens on May 2, 2026 and will be open from 8 a.m. to noon each Saturday until September! 🥳

The Bonham Farmers Market is held every other Saturday from 9 a.m.- 4 p.m., starting April 4th and running through October 31st, 2026. It will be outside the Creative Arts Center, located at 200 W. Fifth Street in Bonham.
